If this is an Android App

First, try to clear the data-set and the cache:

· Go to your "Settings | Applications" screen on your Android device.

· Scroll through until you find the correct App, and <click> on it.

· <Click> on "Clear Cache".

· <Click> on "Clear Data".

If this does not solve the problem a complete uninstall/re-install may be required.

This process requires several specific steps in a specific sequence to be fully effective.

Many Apps will leave the App-Data (user-configuration information) on a device, and may leave the Cached-Data as well, during an App uninstall. Since this data may be corrupted or outdated it must be removed to ensure the new installation will not be affected.

· Go to your "Settings | Applications" screen on your Android device.

· Scroll through until you find the correct App, and <click> on it.

· <Click> on "Clear Cache".

· <Click> on "Clear Data".

· <Click> on "UnInstall".

· Close the "Settings" screen.

· Go to the "Google Play Store".

· Search for the App.

· Install the App.


If this is an iOS App
A full re-installation is required.

· Find the icon for the app you want to delete, and press and hold it for a few seconds.

· It (and all the other icons on the screen) will start to wobble gently, and a small cross will appear in a grey circle by each.

· Tap the cross, and then confirm you want to delete the app.

· Go to the "Apple iTunes App Store”.

· Search for the App.

· Install the App

 

If this is a Kindle Fire App

First, try to clear the data-set and the cache:

· Tap the “Quick Settings” icon located on the “Status” bar.

· Tap “More” to access additional settings.

· Select “Applications”.

· Tap the NewsSite.com app.

· Under the “Data” option, select "Clear Data".

· Under the “Cache” option, select "Clear Cache"

· Return to menu-screen.

If this does not solve the problem, a full re-installation is required:

· Tap the “Quick Settings” icon located on the “Status” bar.

· Tap “More” to access additional settings.

· Select “Applications”.

· Tap the NewsSite.com app.

· Under the “Data” option, select "Clear Data".

· Under the “Cache” option, select "Clear Cache".

· Go to the “Amazon Kindle Fire App Store”.

· Search for the App.

· Install the App.
